Antigua and Barbuda is a country in North America between the
Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of the two major inhabited
islands Antigua and Barbuda and a number of smaller islands. The capital is
Saint John's. The population is about 86,754. Official language – English. Traditional
customs and the way of life in West Indies represent the culture of Antigua and
Barbuda. Music reggae is very popular, different carnivals are held often, and
from English traditions, Antigua and Barbuda received cricket as a national
sport. 70% of population are involved into tourism. Country is full of a huge
number of quiet bays, protected from storms by coral reefs, white beaches and
mountain peaks, covered with exuberant vegetation. The capital Saint John’s
also attracts a lot of attention as the biggest city and the oldest port of the
country.
